Waterford-Halfmoon UFSD has been honored by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) as a School of Distinction for the 2023-24 school year.

Earning School of Distinction status means 100% of our varsity sports teams were named Scholar-Athlete teams during their respective seasons. To be a Scholar-Athlete team, the average GPA for 75% of the team roster must be at least 90. 

This year, 114 schools earned the School of Distinction Award. Winning schools will receive their commemorative awards this fall.
