BOOSTER CLUB OBJECTIVES
-Encourage and recognize high scholastic achievement, sportsmanship, and character.
-Contribute to the morale, spirit, and enthusiasm of the student body and community.
-Increase student awareness of and participation in Waterford-Halfmoon Jr./Sr. High School athletic programs.
-Provide an additional funding source to enhance the athletic programs and participant experience.
-Encourage parent and community involvement with the school and its athletic programs.
-Provide support and assistance to the athletes and coaches to obtain these objectives

-Junior Varsity and Varsity Sports Banquets
-Funding requests by teams and coaches

VOLUNTEER ONLINE
This online sign-up page lists all sports booster events. The site also allows adults and students to sign up to be volunteers.  

HALL OF FAME
Hall of Fame nominees must be submitted to the Sports Booster Association no later than the March meeting. Names that are submitted must be accompanied by their stats and personal information. They will be discussed at the March meeting to get any additional information from the membership. Names that are submitted must be turned over to the Athletic Director and the 4 Officers of the Sports Booster for consideration. In the April meeting the names of the finalists must be announced.

There are two categories that they are considered for:

Old Timers
-Any athlete in good standing that has been out of school for 25 years or more.
-Must have been an all-around good student and in good standing with the community.

New Timers
-Any athlete in good standing that has been out of school for at least 5 years.
-Must have been an all-around good student and in good standing with the community.

FUNDING REQUESTS
Team requests for funds must be submitted by the Coach or Team Representative to the Athletic Director.  If the request is approved as appropriate by the Athletic Director, in writing, a Board Officer must be notified by the team representative or coach in advance of the upcoming meeting to guarantee the item is placed on the agenda.  All requests for funds will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will not be automatically granted.

-Attend the next Sports Booster Meeting to discuss your request with Club members.
