Students, staff, and guests celebrated the grand opening of our new school bank with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week. The student-run branch, a partnership with First New York Federal Credit Union, gives our student bankers real-world financial skills while serving the school community. 

Special guests included State Senator Jim Tedisco, New York State Senate, Council Member Laurie Marble, Town of Waterford, Todd Shimkus, Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, Peter Bardunias, Capital Region Chamber of Commerce, Orion Parrillo, Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce, and Michelle Lavoy, Senior Membership Development Officer at First New York Federal Credit Union.

The Fordians branch of the First New York Federal Credit Union will be open every Thursday from 8:15 to 8:45 am for elementary and 11 am to 12 noon for junior/senior high school.
