The special meeting of the Waterford-Halfmoon Union Free School District Board of Education held Monday, July 19, 2010 was called to order at 7:30am by Mr. Charron.

PRESENT: Richard Charron, Marcia Ricci, Denise Keyoskey, Robert VanBramer

ALSO PRESENT: Timothy Lange

Mr. Lange provided an explanation of the various requirements for the state incentive plan. Among the requirements is a minimum 30-day period (an open window) for staff who are interested in the plan to notify the District. Such notification must come at least 21 days before the final date of the plan. The Waterford-Halfmoon UFSD plan is being set at 42 days to allow for the proper notification.

On motion by Mrs. Ricci, seconded by Mrs. Keyoskey and by a vote of 4 - 0 the Board approved the following resolution, thereby rescinding the previous resolution approved on July 8, 2010: Be it resolved that the Board of Education of the Waterford-Halfmoon UFSD does hereby elect to provide the benefits of Part A of Chapter 105 of the Laws, 2010, commencing on June 30, 2010 for all eligible employees who retire with an effective date of retirement set during the 42 day period beginning with and immediately following the commencement date and who are otherwise eligible as specified by Part A of Chapter 105, Laws of 2010.

On motion by Mrs. Ricci, seconded by Mrs. Keyoskey and by a vote of 4 - 0 the Board adjourned at 7:35am.
